Fresh Apple Pie

by for the double pie crust.


2 cups sliced, peeled apples (I used honeycrisp)

1 stick butter – melted and brought back to room temperature

1 T. flour

1/2 t. salt

2 t. cinnamon

Place sliced apples in the unbaked pie crust

Mix sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon.  Add egg butter and mix until all dry particles are damp.  Pour evenly over apples.

Place top crust over ingredients and crimp to seal.  Cut slits in top crust

Bake at 350 for about an hour – until crust is golden brown.
