Grilled Brats With Peppers & Onions



I don’t know how we came up with this delicious recipe, but I think Mark and I were at work and we were e-mailing back and forth, he was hungry, thinking of food and this is what resulted, let me tell you it is great and so easy to fix.

1 package of Johnsonville Beer Brats
1/2 of an onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon of oil or butter
Salt & Pepper
1 package of Outdoor Picnic rolls

This recipe is really better if you have two people to cook, one to grill and one to saute the veggies, it’s much easier that way and they get done at the same time.  Grill the brats and when they have about 7 to 8 minutes left to cook start sauting the onions and peppers in the oil/butter until done, season with salt and pepper.  We like ours to still have some crunch to them.  Make up your brats however you like to eat them in the bun, add the veggie mixture, enjoy.  It’s that simple.
