Easy French Dip

by

4 lb trimmed flat half brisket

1 pt 8 oz beer

2 pks Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix

Place roast in 9 X 11 X 3 pan – fat side up

empty one packet of the dry onion soup mix over the roast 

pour beer over soup mix and roast

empty remaining packet soup mix meat and rub into the roast

cover with aluminum foil

cook 4 hours at 300 degrees

remove roast from liquid onto cutting board and let set for about 15 minutes

slice meat and load onto sub or hoagie rolls

dip in au jus
